you can join the thieve's guild, fighters guild, dark brotherhood, mages guild, arena, make potion, go into dungeons, plenty of ways

well sometimes when i'm just questing i run into a guard and he takes me in and i haven't even done anything. well i did pick a lock up stairs and i came down to find him. but your saying that if i steal a bunch of things and people don't see i will never get caught?

You don't have to keep all the stuff, you sell it as soon as possible. If you don't have stolen items on you, you'll never get caught.
this isnt the kind of game where what u do affects the environment? example:u kill ppl in town,u leave,then when u come back ppl cower in fear of you or something
Ohh, that's a whole different question. You have to join the Thieves Guild, then a quest will appear called "Independent Thievery", you'll be asigned fences (who are the people you sell the stolen items to). As your way through the Thieves Guild advances you'll be asigned one fence in each major city (for comodity purposes). Believe me it works like a charm, whenever I had money trouble I just stole what I needed
like all i heard about before i join the mages guild is that fact that no member is a criminal, so if i join the thieves guild and start stealing things, will i get booted from the mages guild?
Read one of the wanted posters of the Gray Fox, that will give you a new topic. Go to a beggar and take his dispossition above 70 (after you do the talking mini game, brive him a couple of times), ask about the gray fox and say you want to work for him.
I tried the glitch once, but that felt cheap. I ended up making most of my gold through contract killing, sidequests, random dungeon raids, etc. Just kick around and have fun. The money will come.

I keep some items in my inventory that increases how much loot i can carry like "Feather" rings and have lots of feather spells. Then when you clear out those caves or abandoned temples, grab all the loot that drops and sell them. Also as you sell keep bartering with sales guy, since everytime you sell him somthing your rating towards that person increases.
I don't play obliv anymore and never got past 30 hours of gameplay, but I found the best way to make quick money was to rob castle's at night between guard rounds, generally the cutlery, cups and plates they have laying around are worth a mint. If you can pick some of their display cases you'll get some decent items to sell as well.
