I was at Walmart the other day and I saw Oblivion was priced at 19.99. I was wondering if the expansion packs are worth it? Should I just buy Oblivion or should I wait for the GOTY edition to go on sale? Are the expansion packs worth 40 dollars?
I struggled with that decision a few weeks ago and opted for the GOTY edition, simply because the price was right for the content. More bang for your buck....so to speak:P
yeh get the GOTY, but if you dont have enough money just get the reg version of oblivion then later get the Shivering Isles disc (that also includes knights of the nine) later when you have more money the disc at game stop is around 30$.
honestly i would spend the 30$ on something else, ES is a game that will take you a hell of a long time to beat without the extra content so i say wait. 20$+30$ is 50 thats 10$ less than the 60$ GotY edition; just a lil math lesson:P
Get the regular Oblivion. Play it for a while. If yo like it alot and wnat to get more out of it get the expansions. I played through all the expansions and guilds and side quests except Shivering isles. After 250 hours I kinda wanted to shoot some locusts. Oblivion = excellence
There's a sticky at the top of the 360 forum for people to ask for game recommendations. We'd appreciate it if people kept discussion on that topic to that thread, just to cut down on the clutter that would come about if people kept making new topics every time they have a question.
