I really like the Saint's Row demo and I love games like that.

But my friend also says Oblivion is one of his favorite out of his like 20 360 games. Oblivion looks really interesting and seems like an awesome game. But I don't like those "Well i gots a level 48 mage warrior" games.

I'm saving up for a game. Which would be the better to get?

That's so easy. Oblivion. I logged over 300 hours into it & still pick it up now & again. I was bored with Saint's Row after about 20 hours.

For me, the 40 hours I got out of Saints Row (and keep in mind I barely played the multiplayer, seriously like 5 matches) where better than the 100+ hours I got out of Oblivion.

are you going risk your friends and families and like uo to more then 100 hundred hours of gameplay? If you get the oblivion disease, it might change your life for the bad. You might never come out of your room again. But thats my opinion. I prefer saints row since i'm of shooting games.

Dont shoot me for this but I bought oblivion and although its a good game I tend to choose to play other games instead because I find the loading all the time does my head in and it isnt as fun as i'd expect it. I think im more of a person into war explosions stuff like that. Due to the choice I would go with saints row.

Oblivion tends to crash on my sometime with gets right on my t*ts. It just seems bording and fair enough its got great graphics there is tons upon tons of stuff to do but for my I cant be borthere to do all this stuff to join a guild or whatever. I think I might be selling it and buying Battle field bad company lol thats a game for me when it comes out next year.

Thanks for reading, dont grill me now

Wait for GTA4 if you want to thug it up. Saint's Row has pretty tight gameplay but no pizazz. Oblivion, on the other hand, is a game that will go down in the hallowed halls of gaming history and should be played by everyone. We're talking Zelda epic here.

I wasn't that into Saint's Row after I purchased it and I now think about it was a waste of money. Oblivion is sweet. I just restarted playing it a few days ago cause a friend of mine started playing his but this time I plan on finishing the main quest and more then I will be getting the add on Shivering Ilse from Xbox Live.

That won't be happening because I know when to stop playing and don't really play very much. I play the most at night when occasionally me and some friends will play for an hour or two.

It's like Zelda in the way that it's a fantasy type game that non-fantasy gamers can enjoy. Both games revolve around quests but while Zelda focuses more on platforming and puzzle-solving, Oblivion is more about hacking and slashing or sneaking or casting your way to your objectives.

The fact that you're hesitant, go with Saints Row, faster satisfaction. With Oblivion, you'll need a lot of time, will take a while to get used to it.

I recommend Oblivion. You will be playing Oblivion a lot longer than you will Saint's Row. Also, it has a lot of DLC to make the game even longer.

I agree with you. The loading times when you walked into a building bored me to tears, and the laggy loading when riding a horse gave me a huge headache.

No, not even close.

Oblivion is a lot different than Zelda. Altough fans of Zelda will love Oblivion.

yeah that proper does my head in when your walking along and it says loading area. Worse thing that can happen with gaming is long loading times especially frequent because im in patient. Take GRAW2 for instance thats a game for me running around shooting the crap out of each other is endless fun untill the name game comes out and everyone goes on that.

I'm way behind on playing my games. I have both and barely touched either. The little I did play of Oblivion, I was bored. But I barely played into it so it's too early to say whether I like it or not.

I actually loved playing through both games. If I had to choose one though, it would be Oblivion. Not only have I played it for a long time and done a lot in the game, I know there are many more things I can do in the game. With Saints Row, I could go and do all the things I haven't done but I don't really want to. Therefore, Oblivion is the better choice in the sheer length of game. However, it really just depends on what your personal opinions are. We can only guide but you must read our references in light of your own opinions on game genres.

The only thing I'm worried about Oblivion is:

Is the map you can go around in like freaking enourmas? I get extremely lost in games like that especially if it's first person. I know Saint's Row is big but it also has the GPS thing that gives you directions to the next location.

ok first off this question is like asking whod win in a fight godzilla or a house cat, go for oblivion for sure, and second off to answer the question oblivion has one of the largest video game worlds ive ever seen, although it gives you a detailed map, aradar quest tracking type system, and the quick travel option, which makes everything much much less confusing so you shouldnt have to worry much.

I still pick up saints row and play it all the time. It's fun to just drive around and beat the crap out of people, does that make me a bad person. But don't get me wrong, i've put a TON of hours into Oblivion as well, i'd say get them both
