i just recently got oblivion and i was loving it. i havent played rainbow six or any of my other favorites since ive gotten it. however now its pissing me off and i need some help. i made a warrior orc and was having a ton of fun and i was sort of taking my time leveling up in hopes of getting more points for each time that i leveld up. i had reached level 6 and was fed up with waiting so i just leveled up as many times as i could which put me at level 12. i was even able to get + 2-3 points with each of the levels. but now im level 14 and the game is seemingly impossible. my health goes down and i cant get it back up because i run out of healing potions which barely do anything anyway. and the restoration spell is a joke (i know restoration is not a main attribute of mine but seriously..). Now if i am faced with more than one enemy at a time it is nearly impossible and to close my second total oblivion gate i had to run thru it avoiding everyone and i still BARELY made it out with probably less than 1% health.

anyway i just want to know if im messing up or if the warrior class just isnt good because my friend has a lvl 20+ mage and does fine. id like to avoid restarting my character but if i have to its not that big of a deal. i will post more info on my character such as stats if anyone can acutally help.

thanks alot

JUst turn your difficulty down, or do all of the coliseum fights that will condition your warrior.

alright first you need a stronger restoration spell wich may need to be made... and if the games so hard turn the difficulty down... theres a slider that does so... if you turn it all the way down i think the games more fun... it doesnt take ahundred hits to kill someone... unless that sumones you... basically when u turn the diffculty down your enemies are weaker both damage and health wise

Restoration is very important as warrior, and conjuration can be useful too. Just keep casting your restoration constantly and buy a better healing spell. Any conjuration spell will also help create time for healing and even the odds a little.

What are your main attributes? I was a warrior orc, and the game was tough at times, but after I beat it, hardly anything could kill me. I think I was a level 32 in the end.

no no....you need to have a restoration skill very high. Like you ummm, Alchemy, Destruction etc. One of those skills needs to be high enough to make a really strong health spell. And no offence but there probably not high enough. So i reccomend if your seriosuly having that much trouble, Buy the HIGH Healing spell from a mage, or turn your difficulty down. Also fighting in the Arena is really good for boosting too.

my major skills are blunt, heavy armor, alchemy, athletics, acrobatics (which im regrettin i just didnt know at the time of anything else i would need it was sort of filler), block, and armorer. im thinkin i should have switch acrobatics for restoration. i dont want to turn down the difficulty because i would feel like it was takin the fun out of it. should i restart and change my major skills or can i still get more spells with restoration not as a major skill and still do fine?
