It's a pretty good game. I still haven't completed the "actual" mission or
the add-on. Get the Game of the Year Edition.
Basically it's an RPG. Let's you customize your characters (e.g. armor, weapons, abilities).
It allows you to joing several groups or "guilds" that will make it easier to level up.
And the mission for those guilds are pretty easy, so getting the necessary Gamerscores shouldn't
be that hard. The first few minutes will lag but once you reach the great outdoors, you're free to do what you want.
Sorry that last sentence was cryptic, didn't wanna spoil anything for you. It's also open-ended so you won't get
the whole "live happily ever after until a sequel comes out" feeling.
I was never a fan of RPG's. That all changed when I got my hands on Oblivion and Mass Effect. You should give Oblivion (Game of the Year Edition) a shot. If you want to learn more, do some reading on wikipedia.org. That website has been very helpful for me - especially when creating a character. shaunchgo
Or you could try the Wiki that's all about the Elder Scrolls series.
You can change the difficulity without any penalties if you want... for me just remember to block and dodge. And don't try to charge in against 3 orges... yeah, that didn't work so well for me either.its hard for me i dont understand it

right on man
to me oblivion makes no sense at all - the game doesnt give you any hints. all you get is this big giant map to walk around in, try to find people that will help you, but none of it works. the controls are confusing as well as working on quests, because the few days with the game, it pointed me where to go in a quest and i never got to where i had to go. (and another quest)existingfear47
I guess it is just not for you then because I have never seen an open world game that is better at giving you directions and info on where you should go. Whatever mission you are on, there is an arrow on the map and the compass showing you exactly where to go for the next step of the mission. You also have a "Diary" that lists what you have done and what you need to do next for every mission you have.... I can't see how they could make it easier.
