It seems that the crappier a game is, the more advertisement it gets. It's like some creators eventually just decide to give up on the game and invest the last of their budget on marketting. I guess the main exception to this is Halo 3...but I'm pretty sure Heavenly Sword (released around the same time) got more ad time than Halo 3. I don't really have a point, but i think it's possible that ad frequency is a good indicator of how good (bad) a game is.

maybe you should blog about it, marketing is a stetegy all in itself, if you MAKE the product seem good and likeable then you won half the battle, the other half is people like you who fed into it and go purchase it only to be dissappointed, the moral of this story kids is DONT BELIVE THE HYPE!!

thank you.

halo3 gotthat much marketing because microsoft paid for it. doesnt mean the game is crap. thats your opinion. Its just an overhyped game with too much advertising and stuff.

there is nothing you can do about it. Halo is the most important game for Microsoft. theyr both smart for making that much advertisment for the game. Bungie for selling the game. Microsoft for sellin both game and the console for playing the game.

My guess now that Ninja gaidenII will be 360 exclusive, the game will get a high amount of money from MS for marketing. just to build a hype for it. Team Ninja stands for high quality so Im not worried about Ninja gaiden beeing a overhyped game.
