I'm really starting to regret that I bought that game.

It sucks! The gameplay is ok, but the idea for the game is retarted. A machine that can let you live your ancestor's memories?? its so stupid how i'm riding my horse to damascus and all these guards just attack you. I'm thinking of returning it.

Does it get better? or should I take it back?

That's True ,But out of all My friends that have they all liked it a lot .... There is no game in the market to compare it to

It doesn't get any better. You just keep doing the same thing over and over, it just gets harder and more annoying. The only thing that changes is the guards start to recognize you, so you have a walk everywhere you go, really annoying.

playing it 2nd time thru...more enjoyable knowing where not to screw up and such..i try to take on as many guards as possible

If u want the achievements u should carry on playing as it is very easy but other thAN THAT THE GAME IS A BORE

The developers were going for realism, which they achieved with greatness. Seriously, do you expect not to get recognized after you just jumped twenty feet to stab a guy in the middle of a crowd?? If you're going in the game thinking you can go on Rambo mode, sorry to disappoint you, but this game is called Assassin's Creed. I don't know about you but if I'm going to assassinate someone, the less people that know, the better. common sense.

Yeah, I hear ya, loud and clear. Assassin's Creed took me from playing it through for 3 missions, selling it on Ebay, buying it back, and then completed the game. It's a pretty ok game, not great. More like an 8.0 game, or less. The only thing that kept me motivated to keep playing were the graphics. It's a gorgeous looking game but besides that, it doesnt have much going on for it. It's worth a rental.

P.S. I ended up it selling back on Ebay again, once I finished it. :lol: No replay value.

Give the game a chance,You have barely played it and you devoted the time to get on your computer and ask people if you should keep playing it,honestly do it yourself,the best opinion is your own.

Well don't people play video games to escape from reality? I understand that not all games should be a complete fantasy, but there are some aspects of reality that can just detract from the fun of video games, and just don't belong. If you jump from a building and kill someone, of course you would get recognized and start being chased.

But my point was, when you enter a new city or something and haven't done ANYTHING yet, you can start getting chased if you just start jogging too fast. Is it realistic for guards to only notice you when you run? They don't notice when you walk around with swords and knives all over you back and hips? Is that realistic?

To put it simple, walking for long distances in video games is downright annoying. Which you have to do in Assassin's Creed in order to not get "noticed." I know you would get a ransom if you assassinate people, but it doesn't change the fact that it is annoying.

I think it's great , and strongly disagree with you.

Even though it gets repetitive , i wont even think about trading it in. But then again - i never trade any of my games in, i think it's pointless trading games in, i like just buying new ones , and keeping them all.

yeh the story line is absoultly crap........and i thought it was really good untill the guy at the end used magic and that..............they should of just made it like ur moving up in the world like gta or something

and WHAT R U SUPPOSED TO DO WHEN U FINISH IT..........climb buildings and press a button

oh and btw i absoultly loved that gameplay.........if didnt have the things i mentioned it would of been the greatest game in the history of the world
