"The Guitar Hero World Tour strum bar will be designed closer to the rock band fenders strum bar"-GameInformer

I can't believe that the new guitar will have the fenders strum bar! The reason I chose Guitar Hero over Rock Band was the quality of the guitar. So does this mean that the new gh guitar will have that cursed squishy strumbar? I can't live with that kind of strum bar! I might just stick with my x plorer guitar.

This truly, may be some of the most depressing news I've ever heard. (If what you say is true).

Why model your guitar off trash? (Any argument against this statement will fail as one of the advertised "perks" of RB2 was "improved hardware"...but as we all still know, they just put a cherry on top of a turd).

I dunno why, but I kinda like the Rock Band guitar. I love having the chords lower on the neck too. If it bothers you that much, I dunno...go play a real guitar? :)

I like the xplorer too though.

For me, some sound has to be produced. It's difficult to get in a groove or rhythm without one and it's made especially difficult to grasp a song you don't know without a sound of some sort coming from the supposed instrument you're playing. (i.e. when I hit a string on a real guitar, tada! sound, drums, sound, etc)

The best plastic guitarists (I'm not one of them) choose the Xplorer or the Les Paul, not the Strat for a reason.

The Strat is my favorite guitar control ever, And I personally HATE the XPlorer (And all other GH Guitars after using the Strat) They are just to small for me. They feel like they are just going to snap in half or be crushed whenever I play a fast song on them... That's just me though, I'm not saying that there's anything wrong with the GH Guitars, I just don't like them.

ps. The Strum bar on the Strat is AMAZING... In my eyes.

well said. i thought the ghIII guitar was awesome which is why i will only be investing in a drumset for this years music games. the les paul is a great controller................................even though it does look like a fisher price toy.
