OK, I need help deciding!

In a week I'm going to either get the PS3 80gb MGS4 Bundle or the Xbox 360 Elite. I need help deciding. This is what I think.

80 gb Metal Gear Solid 4 PS3:

Pros:

-Definitely the most reliable system.

-Online is free and decent.

-Playstation always seems to eventually win the console war, even in the hardest of times.

-I feel like being able to play my PS2 games on it.

-The controller looks interesting.

-Despite an extra controller, it pretty much comes with everything I need to start playing.

-Web Broswer looks neat, especially since I can use a keyboard and mouse with it and save image content on it.

-Better graphics.

-I REALLY want Little Big Planet and MGS4.

Cons:

-While online is definitely improving, it still isn't as good as Xbox Live, at least until Home comes out.

-Less broad game selection.

Xbox 360 Elite:

Pros:

-Outstanding Online service

-Great game selection

-Comfortable controller.

-120 gb storage.

-Better store.

Cons:

-Needs many expensive add-ons.

-Far less reliable system.

So please just tell me what I think I should get.

go with the 360 how can you even question it ?ps3 is a forced down your throat blue ray player that even this year lost out in the comparison reviews of games on both systems live is the best and in the end even though your payin for it the 50$ card

= out to something like 17 pennies a day

I suggest getting the xbox 360 elite if you have money. Because xbox 360 have games like halo 3,gears of war 1 and 2,splinter cell conviction,mass effect 1 and 2 and more good games that PS3 don't have.

BTW, I have both systems and I will tell you that PSN has MUCH better downloadable games; there are a bunch of really great games like Super Stardust HD, Pixeljunk Monsters, and Everyday Shooter. Most of the 360 Arcade games aren't worth playing even if they were free.

Demos seem to be posted quicker on xbox live; they may be a day apart sometimes. I LOVE my xbox 360 too, but I must say that the fact that every 360 ships with a microphone may be a bad thing. It's rare to be in a game without some prepubecent kid using racial slurs. I have yet to experience that on ps3.

That having been said, you can't play Gears of War or Halo on PS3, but of course you also can't play Resistance or MGS4 on Xbox 360. You really can't go wrong either way.

Obviously, I'd say an Xbox Elite. But really, the console has been improved and ANY new console you buy WILL be reliable.

MOST of the add-ons you need will come in the box with the Elite. All you really need extra is a play and charge kit and maybe an extra pad.

IMO xboxs are alot better, so much fun online and have alot more exclusives

but theres not much point in the elite unless you just want it cus its black, the hard drive isunnecessaryjust get the premium box

I was in the same situation not long ago. I chose the Xbox 360 just because of its community factor. The fact that you can see friends, what they're doing, their bio, their games, their achievements. Whereas PSN doesnt have so much of a community feel. Its more like your own your own and you're just here to play games, whereas Xbox 360 Is a whole lot more.

ps3: better graphic?!?!:lol: how can you say that ps3 has better graphic....just watch some comparisons....(assassisns creed....gta4......need for speed and quite all other games looks better on 360.....i think you should get the 360 cause of its live services and its games...ps3 games arent that good....maybe just mgs4 is going to rock but,...nothing more than that ...believe me i am not saying that just because i own a 360 i say that cause i know its better...

BUT ..the money is yours and you have to decide how to spend them:) so get what you think is better for you ...but think well!:D
