as u can see i a complete n00b.. i see morrowinnd on the map but it wont let me go there, im guessing i need to have higher power or whatever? or is it even in the game? is it a completly diffrent game (like gta san andreas, liberty city, and vice city are all seperate locations)
u CAN go to morrowind. heres what u do. equip your wallet, then travel to eb games. there you can purchase morrowind for xbox for about 20-30 gold. however make sure u have obtained the original xbox because it is not compatable with the 360 even tho barbie horse adventures is. :-P

Rumor has it, Gameshark allows you to get over there because Bethesda plans to have it as an available area for future updates. This is somehow tied into them not making Morrowind BC.

Nope. In TES4 you can only venture through the province of Cyrodill (and Dagon's realm in Oblivion); Morrowind and the other names are just on the map because they are the neighboring provinces to Cyrodill. If you're interested in Morrowind though, I highly recommend you go pick up Morrowind GOTY for PC -- It's a far better game than Oblivion anyways IMO.
No u can't go in Morrowind in Oblivion, but in new Oblivion expansion Shivering Isles u can get place what looks much like Morrowind (mushrooms are back). Shivering Isles makers said that it's goin to be like coming back to Morrowind so buy it. (I will:D)
I hate to bump an old topic, but I gotta tell you guys, you can go to Morrowind in Oblivion. True, Morrowind on the map is just put there to show relation to the other Elderscroll games, and so it's just an area with lots of trees to keep the world from looking like it really ends (although if you go off the map it kinda does :P). But still, if a mod were to be released anytime soon (seeing as how it's a few years after Oblivion's release date I'm not sure if that will ever happen) I think it would be great to tear down some of the barrier and trees to civilize the land.

u can go there but there's only trees no cities or people or building just trees and woods i've been on the 360 its random and takes 10-20 mins from leyawin on horseback its cool to be there but you should be able to access buildings.
The boundaries to get to morrowind are soooo annoying. I spent 20 minutes climbing a mountain just to get stopped by 'You can't go here. Turn back now.'
