I have question so i keep getting messages from XBL saying i dont have enough space on memory card for the NXE and they directed me to xbox.com/Storage so i went there filled out the serial code ETC... it said i was qualified for a $20.00 60GB But the problem is i dont have a credit card and it Is reqired to order that crap, So here's my Question if i call MS you think they will send me a discount cuopon(For the 20 bucks 60GB) or some sort or am i screwed?

Also i have 180 MB on memory card is dat okay for the NXE? Thanks to Anyone that's help's:)

I can't imagine they would do something like that... Why not just get a debit card that will work just as well. Unless you are underage, in that case you need the help of your parents, sorry

If you can't get the discount, you can at least just go and buy a harddrive for it in stores. There is a 60 and 120 GB, and there used to be a 20 GB one but I think they have stopped producing it.

You need to find someone who will let you borrow their card and you can give them the cash, or...

If you're in the U.S. (maybe elsewhere too) and are over 18 years of age you can go to any KeyBank or Walmart and get a prepaid credit card to use for this. That will cost just a few more dollars - probably about $5 - but ill be worth it in the long run.

You are the first Arcade owner I have heard them offering this to as it's usually for Core owners - so I would jump on it as soon as you're able.

Oh - and no I am pretty sure they won't send you a coupon or anything.

Why would you ever buy an arcade? Those are the biggest scams ever. Please don't reply with I didn't have the money because that is BS and for $100 more you could have had a 60GB HDD which alone is worth more than $100, Component cables which are $40, an ethernet cable, a headset, and a chrome finish.

OUCH!!! That has to hurt considering current prices.

Still as long as you're enjoying your system - that's all that matters.

Yeah, the Arcade really isn't a bad deal. I have a Pro myself, but if someone has an Arcade and doesn't mind buying any extras they want seperately, it's a nice option to have. The only real downside to the Arcade is that it cant play XBOX games, but that isn't a big deal - you can download some hit XBOX games as Originals in the Marketplace.

Give your parents $20 and ask them to use their credit card. They shouldn't be that hesitant about Microsoft since they aren't some no name company/website.

This is the power of not being afraid of the internet or buying things seperately. The Arcade is the best choice for smart shoppers.

$200 Arcade

$30 20gb HDD from MS or $100 120GB HDD from Amazon or $40 20gb HDD from Amazon

$3 10ft HDMI cable

$233 - $243 is all you need if you just wanna play games and get DLC

$303 is what you need if you want tostore 30 hours of video on your console. The internet is your friend and the Arcade makes all of this possible.

I work in retail and even I don't like telling people about the Arcade. It's just a huge scam in the long run. Especially now that they're forcing people to get HDs in order to play online.

Microsoft is offering a great deal on the website... you get a 20gb refurbished hdd and 3 months of xbox live for 29.99... if you need a hard drive i recommend this.

Go to your local convenience store and buy a pre-paid credit card. Works every time...

Microsoft has said that the NXE is 180MB, so he is screwed. Even if it was 165-175 he would still be screwed. He could have like 1 game save on his card. If you don't have a credit/debit card just give your parents $20 and ask to use theirs.

* see the link

I don't know why retail stores charge so much for HDMI cables. Best Buy, Circuit City and even Radio Shack all have a starting price of like $30. If you go online the starting price is like $3. I've never seen such a rampant markup on a product in my life. Its literally 10x the price.

I seriously think there is organized price setting among physical retailers when it comes to cables and that they are banking on people being afraid to shop on the internet. Or hoping that when you see that its only 1/10 the price you'll assume it 1/10 the quality and avoid it.

Mine might be actually cheap and crummy, but I haven't noticed it yet. The picture looks better than component (not by much, but definitely worth $3 plus my HDTV locks out certain settings unless you connect over HDMI) and its only one cable I have to deal with rather 5 plugs where if one goes out everything is screwed.

But yeah, check the link. I got mine off of ebay, but I know people will trust Amazon long before they trust eBay, although i've never been screwed by either and i've purchased/sold at least 50 things ranging for $3 cables to $1000+ keyboards.
