OLD 360 to NEW 360

I have the 1st gen 20gb Xbox 360 and I'm thinking of buying the new red Resident Evil Edition of 360.

A couple of questions:

1) How do I move my data to the new HD?

a) Will all Arcade games, Themes, GamerPics, save games all move?

2) How do I format the old HD?

1) How do I move my data to the new HD? (Ring up MS and ask for a free HDD transfer cable)

a) Will all Arcade games, Themes, GamerPics, save games all move? (YES)

2) How do I format the old HD? (It does that automatically when you transfer your files)

I say get it.

i dont know tech stuff but if you move the harddrive or memory card the arcade games will still be there.:D

You need to get the HD transfer cable to move all your data from one HD to another. Or you can use a memory card to transfer saves and what not and than just redownload any large files. If you want the bigger HD just buy the 120GB it comes with the cable. The only reason I can think of getting a new xbox is if your old one is out of waranty, or you can find a sucker to give you a lot of money for it.
