OMG I was testing a HDTV with 8ms Refresh Rate and the ghosting has terrible, just freaking terrible. I know much og ghosting can be avoided via VGA, but still, Component + 8ms RR = teh ubb3r ph41l

Just because it says 8ms doesn't mean it's actually 8MS...every company uses a different scale to mislead you. Same thing goes with contrast ratios.

Yeah many companies will BS on the specs. It may be more to do with other display modes and features on that telly that need to be disabled to get a better image. My own tv suffers ghosting unless its actually set up correctly for games, but once set up and it runs beautifully.

I have a new Samsung 1080P HDTV with 8ms refresh time and it's perfect. You don't know what the heck your talking about. My TV is amazing, no problems at all. I am running HDMI through an Elite though.
