I just bought Ghost Recon Advanced War fighter about 2hours ago. Soon as I come home to play my new game (about 10 minutes ago) I see a commercial on T.V about Ghost Recon 2 Advanced Warfare 2. It comes out 3/2/07 or something like that. I dished out $40 for nothing at wal-mart. I still have the receipt, do you think wal-mart will let me take it back? I mean, why spend money on the first one when you can by the second one that's way better?

Don't return it, its an awesome game. Also it will help you get used to the gameplay and the story... I'm almost certain when I say that Graw 1 is going to be slightly better than 2. People that have played the demo say it just looks like an expansion.

40 bucks for nothing? How do you know the second one will be way better? If I were you, I'd just have my way with GRAW (I'm so dirty) and get GRAW2 at a later time. It's not like it's going anywhere...
Get rid of it asap. The second one even though is not a great improvement over the first one, is still better and a more enjoyable experience. Also, everybody will play the second one online. You should have informed yourself better.
How in the name of God....can a lvl 20 user with a 360 not know GRAW2 is coming out especially if he was interested in GRAW.????? And Walmart won't take an open game.......play it and buy the new one.....
There is no abbreviation to describe how much that made me laugh. You'd best play through GRAW before you play GRAW 2 anyways buddy, since the stories are related.
This is the DUMBEST thing ive ever read. How could you not know about GRAW 2? And Wal-Mart always has the worst prices on games. Their website has Prey for $59.99 and ebgames.com and amazon have it for $29.99. I found Prey for $29.99 at Best Buy and it was also the Collectors Edition.

First one was great why return it?play it ,enjoy it then buy GRAW 2. I plan on having both!

Dude...what's the big deal? It isn't like sequels are ALWAYS better than the original game. Knights of the Old Republic 1, for example, was light years better than its sequel. Besides, they are both shooter games with pretty graphics for the xbox360. Exactly how different can they be? Maybe that is a slight oversimplification, but then so is your post. You assume that the second one will be way better....why? Because it is newer? Because the graphics might be a bit better? From everything I've read, if you're into shooter games then GRAW is a quality game.

Almost all retail chains do this, it is to protect the copyrights of the game makers and publishers. I am in retail management and this is a frequently argued point at the returns counter.
If you were a real gamer, you'd actually read some gaming mags, or look on any site, and you would've seen that GRAW 2 was coming out in a week. It's your own fault.

I once fell into that trap. My brother bought my Evil Dead (for PS1) as a Christmas gift. After playing it, I realized it was one of the worst games I’ve ever played. I took at back to Wal-Mart and thought I could just exchange it for another copy; from there I planned to take the copy I exchanged it for to a different Wal-Mart and get a refund. The exchange person ripped the plastic off the new one and I was like “Doh!”

I'd return it, then buy it for $10 cheaper at Best Buy. Then I'd forget about GRAW 2 because it looks like a clone of GRAW... and I don't know how much you follow cloning technology, but the clones always come out retarded.

1. NEVER EVER EVER EVER support Walmart. They want to censor all games. Every time you buy anything - be it a stick of gum or a video game at Walmart you are saying "I want to make so little money that I can't afford to put a roof over my head. I like censorship. I think it's good if our politicians are chosen by giant multinational corporations. I hope a chain that sells guns, beer, and cigarettes outlaws all pornography and violence in movies!" 2. Game would have cost you $30 at an independent retailer, and $20 to $25 used from GS, EB, Rhino, et cetera. 3. There are *ways* to return the game... buy another unopened copy from a store charging the proper price, take it back to Walmart with the Walmart receipt. Never do this to any store other than Walmart - it's unethical.
dude, you might as well keep the first one, since they aren't likely to take it back. Plus the reason I don't buy games right away is so they come down in price a bit. Play the first one, wait for some reviews on the second one, and then wait a bit longer for the price to drop.

Owned. Seriously, it seems like you hang around Gamespot quite a bit, there's really no reason that GRAW 2 should have snuck up on you like this, its been confirmed for about 8 months.
