Max Payne 3. I think the 2 max payne games were very underrated. Not the most original revenge story, but the atmosphere the game had:dark, dreary, hopeless, violent, it was perfect. also, the good voice acting and i actually really liked thecomic book cut scenes. I cant wait for Max Payne 3, I loved the movie, and loved the games. I cant wait for this game.

I like your list but GoW 3 won't be until 2010. I would add Madden 10, Modern Warfare 2, Battlefield Bad Company 2, and Batman Arkham Asylum (which I got to play at Wal-Mart since they have a demo of it on the PS3).
