I love my 360 like no other thing I own, but headphones would be sweet. I use my monitor as my tv and my VGA speakers cable hook up to my headphones jack in the speakers, so that takes that option away.

Thats because no sound comes out of the Xbox, therefore no need for a headphone jack.  I play my through my Television or my Stereo Reciever depending on which room its in.tkemory

Headphone jack! When you work shift work, or live with roomates, you know sometimes you play at night and have to sacrifice sound. If i just had a place to pop in my freaking headphones I'd be all set. Anyone else find this annoying? I know you have headphones for online, but what about us single player guys :(immortality20

Well, depending on how much you are willing to spend, you can get a nice set of surround sound headphones that plug into the optical data output of your 360.   The ones I got where the Audio Extreme Surround Sound Headphones for the 360, made by Tritton.  Search for them, they are really awesome and give a pretty good approximation of surround sound, all inside the headphones.

it would be cool if the 360 had wireless headphones, sort of like the wireless controller where you held in the X and they turned on, and somewhere in the options you could make it so that the sound plays in the headphones...dumb idea but it would be awesomesniperryan121

um all you have to do is attach one of those wires that have stero inputs on one end and then a single output jack on the other to your AV and then plug  in headphones

the sega genesis had a headphone jack to.  but it's really worthless unless u plan to make love to ur system while u play unless wireless headphones with the headphone jack receiever
