ok if i was to buy xbox live games and got a new 360 would there be any trouble with me playing them? do i have to buy again? how could i get them bakc?

By XBL games I assume you mean Xbox Live Arcade games, correct? One, if you have a hard drive with your new console you can just transfer the data, so you wouldn't have to re-download them. Second, regardless if you have a new HD or not you want to do a license transfer on Xbox.com, that way you could redownload them for free AND you can play them on any profile on your console, not just the one you bought the content on.
