online multiplayer shooters

Hi all, I was planning to buy a new game and I want a FPS that has a solid multiplayer and there ARE people who play the game... I was thinking of Modern warfare but with Modern Warfare 2 coming in Nov , I would rather get that. I already have battlefield bad company. Any suggestions will be much appreciated. Thanks

I wasn't really a huge fan of Team Fortress, but for $15-20 the orange box is a steal even if you don't like the multiplayer. Also, Rainbow six vegas 2 is my favorite multiplayer shooter for 360, and a lot of people still play it.

Considering what you said about MW2 coming out, i would still have to say you should get CoD 4 and / or WaW. These two are great games and you can find a hell of a lot of people still play them, and still will when MW2 comes out! Or you could just buy Halo 3.

Well.. you said you already own Bad Company... so I guess what you should do is buy 1943, and then wait until March for Bad Company 2. Nothing else out there is worth playing, in my opinion. (except zombie mode in COD:WaW, lol)
