does anyone else agree...maybe i'm the only one. But hell I can't play more than 2 games of COD4 with out getting flat out bored. and I usually do pretty well. Maybe it's just shooters but I really need something new and exciting.

well i can kinda agree, its just that i get fed up with the "one-uppers, the know-it-alls, loud mouths", and with the people that think they can just talk trash to anyone,, it really shows the communities intelligence when they open their mouths and spat out all this bs.... who think they are always right. and clutter up the mic channels with screaming and derrogatory comments, thats what is killing the online community.. but atleast you can mute some of these clowns. but they will get what is comming to them one day... maybe they will open their mouth to the wrong person not online. and get the living crap beat out of them... or maybe something else... thier favorite lines of course are to tell people to get a life... ha when they are so insecure of their own to begin with.

totally agree with u 100%. i hate the loud mouths. i kinda feel like u jarhead. it gets boring sometimes EVEN when ur doin good. its better when u play with ur friends tho.
i kinda agree too, i first got live when halo 2 came out and i loved it and it was amazing and exciting, i guess its just got abit old
but then again, stillmatic has got a point, gears 2 will change that for me aswell

yeah only temprorarily then these clowns will flood those servers with their bs... just like cod4 it was great at first now everyone thinks their the best at it, and everyone makes excuses why they didnt win. and complain about something when they get their butts whooped, and always have some stupid derrogatory comment to make, and by the way ive had LIVE since it first launched in end of 2002/beginning of 2003
yes i have been bored recently.....I just cant be bothered to play CoD anymore, but new multiplayer games are coming out soon and R6V2 and Army of two have also come out.
I think you should try a new game. I got bored with COD4 a few months ago and started playing Halo3 again. I purchased R6V2 last week and have been in multiplayer bliss.
totally agree, hate going online now on most games because i know i will have to site through some guy being racist or another talking about somones mum or something.. its boring. Loving the fact they added the new mute feature in cod4.
Only seem to enjoy online gaming now when its just with the guys from work.
I am in the same boat as you are. I'm getting bored of everything I play and that's probably because I can't afford a new game so I'm stuck playing my old ones which I dislike. Multiplayer for Halo 3 is ugh, and I didn't enjoy COD4 multi. much.
Yup kinda...i cant play for more than 30 an hour at a stretch...i'd rather be playing something like mass effect (which i do alot these days)
the only game i think can make people like me play (the online part) for long hours is probably Unreal Tournament...which sadly isnt on the 360 yet...*sad*
i got a little bored wit call of duty 4...but gears i haven't been bored wit yet...i play wit my friends so i think thats what makes it still alot of fun for me..so i agree that playin wit friends does make it better
well I guess the novelty of playing with complete strangers has worn off of you. But since I just started playing online in Sept., I think I still have a while left.

Made the lancer more powerful, which added a lot of balance to the multiplayer. It also pissed of shotgun whores because they needed to use strategy now.
I agree, I'm sick of online, all the idioits doing dumb "stuff" and not making the experience fun. Lately I've been playing single players games like Crackdown, Condemned 2, and other sports titles.
