Opinion on Gears of War Player Match rumor

Well as somebody who hosts Ranked Matches on Execution all the time and I always bring several of my friends with me and we are ready to whip somebody, it would be nice to have the achievements be available in Player Matches, because Tensions in Ranked Matches run too high sometimes and you get into arguements over the stupidest crap around

I play with my friends in ranked matches all the time , all you need to do is select the map you want to play, go to Xbox live ranked match and do a Custom Search and keep looking for a certain set amount of rounds, where there is not a game open with the map you want to play. Like if you search for 6 or 7 rounds on the Mansion and it is not taking, then go open up the room and tell your friends, that you should be the only match open with this map on this amount of rounds

Then if that map is taking, keep searching until you find a set amount of rounds, where nobody has that map open, I do it all the time and my friends are to go room in no time

Like the other night, I wanted to play Old Bones and there was hardly any matches open on 14 Rounds and Old Bones was not one of them and my friends were to the room in no time, after I sent them the room details

Then on Gridlock, I had to search the Menus for a minute, there it was wide open on 16 rounds, nobody had a match on Gridlock with 16 rounds and there was only 3 minutes, it is not hard to do

Its a great idea.. Should of been done in the first place.. It currently ruining ranked matches.. Ranked matches should be for one thing and one thing only.. Ranking.. Being forced to play team matches invites problem playing ranked matches when all teammates want to do is boost achievements.. It effects the way ranked matches should be played..Recon13

Ranked matches end up being a mess when people play stupid to get achievements. Not to mention that with the high volume of 12-year-olds on Gears, I'd rather play exclusively with friends. I stopped playing ranked matches in Gears because I just couldn't take it anymore. Screechy nonsense, all swearing an n-word this and f-word that and blah blah blah, "Yeah, Mom, I'll be done in a minute for my changing!"

If it does I'll love Gears again. Lets just say I'm not the perfect Gears player after coming back to it from a 2 month break, Ranked Matches are real competitions, you want achievements then you need to get your rank up at the same time. This means that you get those people shouting about how good they think they are and how everyone else sucks, it's not social.

 Player Matches however are there for a laugh, no one cares about how good you are, it's to have fun. That's why I'm stuck in GRAW 2, all Achievements are unlockable from Player matches, and Ranked is more or less for a full-on competition. Do the same with Gears and I'll definitely be happy.

Hope that rumor turns out to be true. Mainly because I never play ranked on Gears Of War. I don't have time to sit and wait for all that bs just so you wont be able to play with your friends. And ranked just isn't worth the stress.BlkONBlkCrime

It would make playing with your friends more fun, especially knowing that you got your Headshot kill achievement on your friends.slipslayer_666
