As I was going through the displays on my Xbox 360 I noticed Optimal Resolution which runs at 1360 by 768 pixels. Which one is better Optimal or 720p?

This is newbe but why is it better
It means that your TV is being used to it's full potential. "Native resolution" can only beachieved (that I know of) with HDMI, which I'm guessing you have.

That would be because Mass effect only supports 720p..
