Orange Box or Halo 3?

I don't have alot of money this month and was thinking what game will be better to buy (i'll prolly rent the other though). I never played Half-Life 2 (bc my pc old and don't have an old xbox) But I hear its rated one of the best fps out there. Was going to get the old xbox game of it but who knows if its backwards compack and I heard they are upgrading the grps for Orange box HL 2. I been watching TF2 beta videos and that online looks very fun (would love to see more maps).

I also have never played halo 1 or halo 2. So I think I would be lost in the single player and not get into whats going on. Also I think the multi-play online side might be too hardcore since its the 3rd game and ppl are still playing the 2nd after years of it being out. BUT the gamevideos of gameplay look very fun and nice eye candy. One question is there any blood in the game?? I know there no gore but is there any red blood sprays?? Is it kiddy also no Shiiiiiii!Ts? or Phucks?

I'm kinda more on the Orange Box side right now but theres so much Hype about halo 3 I want to know its about (the funnest of it)

Oh I'm getting CoD4 without a problem (it comes out in Nov right?) pretty far away. I'm in the beta that games very fun with the custom class and leveling up.

Actually its five games so...I Guess Halo 3 VS Half-life 2, Ep1,Ep2, Portal, and TF2

I honestly think Halo is WAYYY OVERrated... Coming from mostly PC player i would get orange box but thats just me...

if you are into to online multiplayer then i would get halo 3, if not and you are looking for single player then go with half life, me personally i would go with halo3, legendary paid for in full.Lo_Rising

TF2 looks like a very fun fps online. From the beta and previews it runs at 60 fps and hardly no lag. The taunts after kills are pretty funny too.

I would get Halo 3, because HL2 and TF2should only be played on a PC.

Team Fortress is really fun (I used to play the originals for Quake and Half-Life), but it's pretty much one game-type, CTF, and I suspect that there won't be too many maps.

So I agree with the above poster... Get Halo 3 for MP, or get Orange Box for SP, or be like me and get both. :wink:

im gettin orange box over halo 3, 5 games vs. 1 is an easy deision...

and about the length of the episodes, ep 1 is about 5-7 hours long and supposedly ep 2 is about 10 hours long.
