Orange Box or The Simpsons?

I'm a huge fan of The Simpsons but I heard the game isn't very good. I mean only 6 people on gamespot wrote a review on it & that's kinda sad. I've never played Half-Life 2 or any of the games in the Orange Box. I wish there was a demo I could play before buying it. But 5 games on one disk? That's a good deal & I love FPS's. I know the easiest answer to my question is to buy both but I'd like a responce from the gamespot community first before making a decision. Is The Orange Box at least bloody or gory? Is it more Sci-Fi than Halo 3? I could use someones two cents right about now. Thank you.

I wouldn't mind a humorous game right about now but the Orange Box has higher ratings & that's what I usually go by. What I want is a Horror/FPS with a good story line & creepy graphics but I don't know if The Orange Box is anything like that. BustaSag

Yeah, I think Simpsons really got busted down on gameplay, but it is pretty funny.

I don't know if I'd call OB "horror". It's more sci-fi, but in my opinion (and a lot of other people), Half Life 2 has one of the best stories, gameplay, and atmosphere of any FPS out there. BTW, have you played Bioshock? It's not really "horror" either exactly, but has a very dark, moody atmosphere and a great story and gameplay.

If you are asking it means you do not have $60 to throw away so you defenetly want to get the game that is going to last you longer and there is no comparing OB is the best value by a long shot.

I rented both from GF and i played and enjoyed the Orange box i have yet to receive Simpsons but if i had to buy one i would buy....CALL of Duty 4 there you go

Darkness is another choice. i love the Orange box portal and TF are a lot of fun. and lots of single player aciton to boot ep. 1 was decent but the half life 2 and ep. 2 are really good.
