Sort of. You have your index finger on Red and then your pinky will be on orange. Then if a green note comes up, just use your index finger as well.

i move my whole hand, or just keep your four fingers on red, yellow, blue, and orange and reach to green with your index finger, it can strecth farther than your pinky.

it takes some getting used to, i remember it used to make me insane, and it will make you insane for awhile, but it'll become second nature and you won't even think about it.

This is why I recomend people starting out on hard, to avoid this issue.

Get used to having yoru default hand possition being middle finger on yellow, pointer on red, ring on blue, and pinky on orange. When a heavey green button part comes up then move all your fingers up one position. Pointer on green, middle on red, ring on yrllow and pinky on blue. That will cover anything you need to do.

Also like the other person said go to practice mode, and start out on slowest then work your way up. It helped me tons. But right now I am having problems with "Woman" bridge on hard.

It depends on the situation. If it's just an odd orange note then I will stretch my pinky down to it, but if the whole section is shifting to the higher keys then I move my whole hand.

just go with whatever way your hand feels like doing. Sometimes i move and others i use the pinky with index on red and green. For me it depends on how fast the notes are coming

It takes a while to get used to, but the best method to use is where you move your whole hand. So in the first position, you use your index finger for the green button and your pinky for the blue button, then in the second position you use your index finger for the red button and pinky for the orange button. I usually stay in position 2 until I have to press the green button or if there is a long trail of greens.

I usualy move my hand. And if a green key comes up, I move my hand again. I don't stretch often. I find it screws me up big time.

You have to slide your entire hand. Just trying to stretch your pinky is not going to work on the faster songs. It will cramp up and it doesn't move as fast as your other fingers. It took me awhile to hit that button but I am good enough to almost 5 star every song on Hard but I can't even come close to a 5 star on expert yet.

I never had trouble hitting this button. I started out using my fingers in no specific order, just in the most comfy way.
