original console to slim tranfer cable??

E-Bay, Amazon, and if you can't find one there call Microsoft Support and ask them to send you one for free. If you just bought a new hardrive they should supply you with one.

well i got a new slim not just a hd.. if i start playing and saving games will it over write everything when i transfer the data from my old hd???

All the transfer cable will do is transfer all your profiles/game saves over to your new harddrive. Once that is done the harddrive will work exactly the same as your old one. And since you bought an entire new console try giving MS a call and they will most likely send you a free transfer cable.

whats so funny? microsoft will send me a free transfer cable.. they only get 20 in stores.. i think ill get it

Im not kidding : / believe it or not Microsoft are not always greedy bast*****. Sometimes they actually help people out.

they wont even package a rechargable battery with there consoles.. doubting ide get a free cable out of them
