you can link an ethernet from ur pc to the xbox and share the connection. dont know how to do it in windows though. i have a mac.

or you can buy an access point for about £40 to do the same job, but will be a tad more complicated to use and more wires etc etc

Setting up an access point or sharing your internet connection are both equally as easy. It might be better if you share your PC's internet though just because its cheaper.

I just bought the official MS adapter. It works amazingly well and there's no wires or anything like that and it fits nicely on the back of the 360. I found mine for about 80$... pretty good deal. Of course there's other alternatives but they're gonna be messy and require a lot of work.

i run live through my laptop which is connected to my houses wireless router...setup is very easy. I'll try my best to walk you thru the process but if ur good with computers it shouldt be hard:

1. ok so you to Start>Connect to>Wireless Network Connection (or however you access your wireless network connection properties...im using XP)

2. click properties and select the advanced tab

3. check the box sayin "allow other network users..." and select Local Area Connection in the drop down list

4. This is a side note: I turn my firewall off when i use my laptop online due to connection issues (for some reason i sometimes cant get into certain lobbies if my firewall is on). this can also be done in the advanced tab.

5. Ok so now that thats done save your settings by clicking ok and repair your wireless connection from your computer...yes even if it is connected already without any problems

6. Finally (with your console off) connect ur ethernet cable into ur computer and fire up your 360...it should detect the connection automatically from your wireless network...works everytime for me

good luck, hope this helps

If your computer isn't wireless you're going to have to a. wire it somehow to the network or b. use some sort of adaptor. I haven't used one so Idk what to tell you but it's likely going to be confusing. Good luck.
