what does microsoft do to differenciat the age differences?cause im 17 and i mean i dont wanna not be able to download m games or something just cause i put under 18. so what are the differences depending on which on u choose

I honestly don't know if they will keep you from downloading M games. My guess is that they will.

It is based off the information on your windows live account as well as the age you input when subscribing to XBL.

i dont have a windows live account i dont think. does that mean i cant get xbox live.

im in the process of saving up enough money so that i can buy the wireless reciever

Just slip while entering your DOB so it looks like you are 18 - that way you can decide whether to download and watch/play something or not.

it is your choice if you want to DL adult content, go over 18, dont let microsoft deside what you can and can not see.

Change your age on your xbox and then go into hotmail and change your age in the options. Voila!

Xbox will force you to get a windows live account as that is your primary communication source for MS.
