I am glad there is no gore. I like the cute & goofy look it has going for it. There are enough games for the 360 that have gore. It's nice to have something "different", and that is the reason it's a "must buy" imo.

Definitely entertaining...it's fun sending those minions to do random stuff. I like how you got to burn all the halflings in the brush...they all scream in agony as they're getting cooked :)
The graphics kind of suck though, and the camera angles took some getting used to...I'm not sure if I'll buy it though.

I though it was like a mixture of Fable and Pikmin. I didn't like either of those games but there was something in Overlord that made me want to keep playing. I might buy it. Haven't decided yet.

The full game won't be so easy. That was just a training mission to get you used to the controls.
I thought the demo was great and the whole game seems hilarious especially the minions. I'm probably only going to rent this though since games like this are usually short.
the camera is the exact same as any other game except you need to hold down right bumper to use it rather than control your minions. After 5 minutes it becomes pretty natural.

You played the very beginning of the game, of course it will be simplistic. I think having 50 minions of different clans, as well as using your own special abilities will definately add to the complexity of the game.
I thought the demo was great, and I'm really looking forward to the release.

Of course, its an action RPG and its T, not E. It will be hard, if its not then set a hard setting.
Pros: Graphics where very well done. The demo was unique and fun, anyone else just enjoy beating the Jester endlessly? or killing sheep over and over? lol i did. The humor was awsome, i might get it just for the dialog lol.
Cons: Character moved a bit like a robot. Controlls needed some work, they felt a bit to stiff. Camera needs to be freed up, to often i wanted to look around quickly but couldent.
Overall i loved the humor and the idea, has a fresh look on the hack n' slash genre, if they tighten up the camera/controlls i think this game can be a sleeper hit.

I also like the cartoony feel of the game. It's nice to have a light-hearted game that is just fun. I like games that are serious and gory but it seems every game out there is. And like you said its nice to have variety.
I liked the game. It reminded me of Pikmin on Gamecube. I've heard the game is like 50 hours long. So, I think there is a lot more depth to the retail game.

If that's true it just moved into the must buy catagory for me.
meh... this game. This is not a good game to purchase for 360 IMO. Maybe for the PC, and the game was different, but this sort of thing would have been much better on Wii. It might be fun, with controls like that. I sorted felt like I was being tasked with all these things that I just couldnt get into. I didnt play past bashing the jester so maybe it gets better though
