Cool ppl i was in da overlord forum an bare ppl were talkin about farmin or something im confused wat do they mean(gettin da game tomorrow an was just curios) sorry about da spelling. i would of posted in da forum but for some reason im banned from postin topics in da game forums. safe ppl an Bless

Farming usually refers to collecting items or gold in a MMO or RTS (commonly found on the PC). I have Overlord, but I don't remember seeing anything related to farming (or the need to farm, since your minions just pillage anyways), other than actually people farming. . .you know fields. :?

Maybe they mean "farming" the little minion orbs. Since they're used in upgrading your weaponry.

Yeh nah if you look on da overlord forum ppl are askin were da best place to farm is an i was kinda confused, but thinkin about they probably mean lookin for gold an wat not, but i just wasn't sure, if im wrong can some 1 tell me thanks ppl. Bless

they're probably farming for lifeforce or whatever the that stuff is called. Lifeforce just comes off of dead enemies (and sheep!) and allows you to spawn more minions.

since farming has been for WoW and such even though i see no reason to even do it, they were probably talkng about the PC version before thexbox version still dont see the point though

Having not played the game i cant be positive what they are farmign, but farming is simply the process of going to the same area and killing the same monsters over and over (go, kill, leave, wait for them to respawn, return, repeat). Farming can be used to kill certain enemies hoping for certain items to drop or just to get xp. When someone kills the same monsters over and over hoping for items and loot it is usually called farming, when someone does it for xp it is usually called grinding.
