Can I buy a game overseas and play it on my australian xbox 360 as long as it is also from a PAL region. For example can I buy a game from the UK?

Yes you can,PAL is PAL afterall.

But why,are games more expensive in AUS then the Uk,whats the exchange rate.

(get a ps3,then you can get games from the US,for next to nothing)

Just got my Xbox so am new to how things work with this stuff.

Anyway, I was looking on ebay and found that from the UK I could buy NBA 2k8 for 50ish AUD plus 10-20 postage, but in AUS the game goes for about 99 or 90 if you're lucky (these are new).

Furthermore there are more used games OS so it's just eaiser to find what I want.
