I currently own a PS3 and a Wii

I hate my Wii, it was ok at first but its really only fun to show people or if abunch of people are over.

I love the PS3 but the lack of games is starting to get to me.

My old roommate and I have had a core but obviously I did not get to keep it when I moved out.The main reasons I wouldn't want a 360 is I hated sports games on it last year but I guess they are better this year. Also I didn't like that you had to buy a HD player and wireless internet adapter as well as pay for xbox live.

Pro's

I don't need the HD anymore because of my blue ray for ps3

Price went down

Games are way better, Most games are built for 360 first and then ported over to ps3 which make it slightly worse

Cons

Is it worth it to pay for all 3 systems?

By next year the ps3 may have the better games and games built first for the ps3 for the blue ray.

Pay for xbox live and adapter

Thoughts??

Sell your Wii on ebay, and use the money for X360. I just sold my Wii on there for $415. :D

Heres what to do: trade in your wii and your PS3 cause all games are coming to the 360, dont bother with buying a wireless adapter as the wired LAN through router is safer and free, get an HD drive only if you really need one (youll have enough cash if you trade in the two other systems). I would say to keep your Wii cause 2 systems is fun but if u dont want sell it. Oh and live is worth it. The price of one game for an entire year of fantastic online play downloads game demos and great chat awaits. Be sure to either get Premium or Elite, not Core.

I might sell the Wii, i really think the Wii is useless, its more of a gimic then anything. I dont want to sell the PS3 i like it so far and if it ever gets games it would be very good. If not the blue ray player will work for me I guess.. I think im gonna see what I can get for my Wii on Ebay..

First off, having all 3 systems is the best.

Sell your Wii, but what about Super Smash!

Anyway, yes you should get the 360. It has to many games already out, plus a crap load about to come out this year. And for someone who has a PS3, I am sure 14 cents a day for Live is not to much. PS3 will get strong later, 360 has been and will stay strong as far as game selection goes.

I mean, how could you miss titles like Bio Shock, Mass Effect, Halo 3, and PGR4!

Not sure what sports games you like, but the 360 Madden runs at 60 FPS so I guess that's a plus.........

If you don't like you Wii, sell it. If there are games that interest you on the 360, buy it.

Now you've bought your ps3, don't get rid of it. I'm a 360 fan and don't own a ps3 but even I can see Ratchett + Clank, Uncharted and MGS4 (arguably heavenly sword too) will be fantastic titles. Since you've already taken the plunge and bought it, don't sell it.

The Wii, ye sell it and put the money towardsa 360. The 360s line up is fantastic, it has tons of brilliant exclusives. Go for it :)

It just depends, if you want to play Bioshock this year, Halo3, Mass Effect, PGR4, Alan Wake sometime, and the rumored Star wars battlefront 3, then Yes it is worth getting a 360, If i were you I would just got after the $350 Premium, get live, and get some Bioshock when it comes out, and pick up some Madden 08, which runs in 60 frames. Then you can get Halo3 in sep. And one more thing, Call of duty 4 will be better on the 360 then the PS3, at least in terms of multiplayer and Team Fortress 2 will also be better on the 360.

BTW, I am not a fanboy so you can trust me, I am getting a PS3 after this holiday season, sometime in early 08 sometime because the PS3 has some kickass games coming out at that time and there is also games coming out this year that Im interested in. So ya, if you want what I just described, then totally go get a 360.

I like XBOX the best. PS3 has some cool stuff coming out but I am only looking forward to FF 13, the Wii only has smash bros and mario kart in my opinion. I agree with the concensius that you should dump the Wii. As for Live I just got it and it made me glad I bought the xbox. There are great xbox exclusives out that are worth buying it for (Halo 3, Dead Rising, Gears of War...just to name a few)

I would think you have a lot of fun with it because it is BY FAR The best system right now with the games it has. The PS3 and Wii will catch up some time but the next year the 360 is gonna dominate. But still I'd only get one if there are some 360 exclusives that you want like Halo. Or sell your PS3, it makes way more sense to have Wii/360 or Wii/PS3 but not as much sense for PS3/360 because they share 90% of their games it seems like.

Do you have a really good PC? Because since you already have a PS3 and a Wii, and if you had a good PC there is no need for the 360. But if your computer sucks and you think it will be too expensive to upgrade it then i suggest getting a 360 Premium.

EDIT: ohh and also if you decide to get the 360, i would wait a while because i hear that a version that doesn brake as much is coming out sometime in september- november. I was really pissed when i heard that since i just recently bought mine and its constantly freezing up when i play gears or DoA (no idea on why i bought that game) online.

dude, you dont' need to get the Wireless internet adapter for the 360. I just plug my DSL line directly into the 360. The DSL cable only cost $7 at radio shack. I don't fathom why people spend $90 for the wireless thingies when the ping isn't even that good.

btw... the 360 is the best system out this console generation. But if you already have the PS3 and Wii... seriously man, you don't need to spend more money on video games. Just stick with them.

Take advantage of the high demand for the Wii and sell it to get a nice new Elite. You'll play your Xbox way more than the other two consoles.

Shouldn't have bought a PS3. Don't use wireless, you are playing games online here you need to have the best internet connection you can possibly have. Xbox Live isn't free because it is infinitely better than either of the two online services. Xbox Live made online console gaming what it is today.
