Well I'd rather hear my friends than some whiny little kid using big boy words like there's no tomorrow.
true that. Also the whole point of party chat is to be able to talk to your friends which is the point of xbox live. Sure it might make the online experience different, but there is nothing about communication that ruins online games.Well I'd rather hear my friends than some whiny little kid using big boy words like there's no tomorrow.

Party Chats has it's ups and downs but in all honesty, if they took it away I would complain like no other. I can't play any game without listening to my buddies talk.
Yes your right. But they should not be able to talk to player that are still playing from the grave. This totally ruins search and destroy on COD. COD designed S&D so that you couldnt talk to the players that are playing for a reason, because it gives them an unfair advantage. Microsoft just disregarded that fact and gave you a means to bypass it.That's the whole point of communication in online games.

So you're complaining that you got killed? If you were a good sniper you could kill people without giving away your position. Unless CoD does a stupid thing that zooms in on whoever killed you when you die. Hell, if you don't like it then why don't you just do Party Chat too?
A sniper should always relocate, no sense in Camping at a spot.

I learned that in Bad Company. People who play regularly will already know where all the good / obvious spots are on the map. If you stayed there for more than 2 minutes you'd get blown to pieces lmao.
I love playing COD:WAW, and I like to snipe. I just hate it when you snipe somebody from a really good spot and then along comes his buddy, stabbing you in the back or dropping a grenade on your lap. I cant stand that everyone plays in party chat and that they tell each other where you are. Does anyone else feel this way or is it just me?diablovt750Party Chats is the reason why i play Online games basically, it saves me from talking to these idiots online. Im guessing you don't have that much friends then, because its much better to Party Chat with them then talk to a trashtalker.

I don't have many friends on XBL. Although I like party chat, I'd rather prefer to talk to guys I'm playing with at the time (unles me and my friend are playing the same game) because I just like the teamwork and everything else. Maybe I'm a nerd, but I like being able to ask people when they need healing on Bad Company and whatever :P

I love the kids with high voices on XBL who sound like total noobs and then flip out if you TK them. It makes 50 bucks a year worth it.[QUOTE="kingrich06"]

Never had that happen. In BF BC i always sniped from inside bushes, so they cant see you. I camp and snipe. It's actually saved online for me. Now I can just talk to my friends and play instead of having to listen to some punk kid cuss up a storm over nothing and act like he's better than everyone else. I hate people like that who play online.

party chat has saved online gaming actually and i think its funny how you think team mates telling eachother where enemies are is some how unfair...is this the first time uve played team based games?chaoscougar1He's saying that after people are dead in search and destroy (it's a 1 life mode), they can still communicate your position. The CoD designers designed the game so you couldn't talk to eachother after death to prevent that from happening.

I camped for about 30 minutes protecting the crate and only died because I got hit by artillery when I went to get ammo. Anyway you do know that he probably saw the red dot when you fired. Also who cares? You were staying in the same spot as soon as he respawned he would have told everyone and more than likely killed you. It doesn't bother me as I barely use my mic, heres my take on party chat. see if anyone thinks the same way as me.
ok so back in the day, when you wanted to play multiplayer with your friends, it was 4 people in front of a n64 (or playstation with a multitap, but i was the only one of my friends that bothered getting one). you had, lets say for example, perfect dark, 4 human players and a bunch of bots. you could talk to your friends, obviously you don't talk to the bots.
so now that party chat exists, im still talking to the same 3 dudes I played perfect dark with, and the rest of em are just like mindless droids? I'm using imagination here.
but yeah every once and a while I've wanted to scream at the top of my lungs at dumbass teammates in halo 3 who don't know where to take the flag, or bomb...

I love the kids with high voices on XBL who sound like total noobs and then flip out if you TK them. It makes 50 bucks a year worth it. Wow, that is sad. That just seems really immature on your part. I don't mind younger players if they communicate in a mature manner, but when someone is flipping out and cussing at everyone then I just mute them, then avoid player after the game. On topic, I like party chat because it saves me the trouble of dealing with all the complainers and trash talkers without having to mute them, but at the same time it can be annoying if you're playing a team game like halo, and half of the people are in party chat so the team can't communicate to each other. But I'm guilty of being that person in party chat too sometimes, so I can't complain.Hmmm..Did'nt realize that people colluded like that. Prior to the party chat people barely spoke. Now I think its even worse. The system has its pros and cons.
i think the party chat is amazing cause i hate hearing a little 5 year old scream into his mic for no reason i just sometime go into a party chat by myself if i get a gay halo game like that and its also fun casue u get to talk to your friends when there playing other games
Are you talking about play Search and Destroy in party chat? I actually do that because it gives you and your team a huge advantage.msuspartan11too bad it completely ruins the game.
Move places.Next-Gen-TecBingo! The OP sounds like a total noob if he doesn't even know the basics of playing sniper. Also, party chat isn't the only place I tell people where the enemy is located. if I'm using my headset in COD you better believe I'm constantly informing others of where the enemy is. Party chat or not.
