Just wondering if you would pay monthly fees to play Call of Duty online.

If it was sort of like other game subscriptions(adding a ton of content per month,example=WoW) except cheaper,like 5 dollars,maybe. Although if it was just a fee to just play the game then hell no I wouldn't.

you would be stupid to pay to play cod!!!! they arent even runin dedicated servers for mw1&2. youre there servers,they take away and give less but want more. activision is using our bandwith but wanna charge us ( activision thieves) we should be charging activision! didnt activision boast about making a billion dollars. i guess there blinded by their own insatiable greed!!!!

Is it possible that it would be a one time thing though, not every month? And if it was every month, do you think that they would make it to where you don't have to have gold to play, kind of like FFXI?

Im not gonna pay for Madden online, So i definitely wont pay to play CoD.

many people who own an xbox already pay to play online... why the hell would we pay more just to play one game?

I love Call Of Duty, but no, I would not. I already payed for Xbox Live and I do not wish to pay over the top of that, so I won't. I don't care how good the game would be online, I refuse to pay extra for no reason. This is coming from an original CoD PC fan back in the day and has played every single CoD game and loved them. But the prices for MW2 map packs are ridiculous and I will never pay for them unless they come down to the right price. I am also annoyed how Black Ops is going to cost about £7 or £8 extra to just buy the game. While I am getting Black Ops, I'm not going to lie it's annoying how I have to pay more.

Hell no I wouldn't pay to play online. That's what the xbox live membership is for.

I'm not, screw Black Ops, the last COD game I get will be MW2, and thats only if I get it for my birthday, asked for it before all this started, if I don't then it looks like MOH is the way to go.

The map packs were WAY to overpriced for me. Though I don't even like MW2. COD4 was the last time the COD series was good. I would never pay, not even a one time fee, to play a COD game online. Or any game for that matter.

Did you read the tweets though? They said "no one will ever have to pay to play any COD game online." That isn't an exact quote, but it has the keyword. "Have to" and "has to" just means it won't be the only way. The P2P rumor hasn't been killed yet. It can still exist, but they can have free members too. Kind of like Runescape. You can play for free, but you won't get to play much. If you are a "member" or "'subscriber," you will have everything, and most likely a huge advantage.

Edit 2: Activision hasn't said anything yet. Robert Bowling and Josh Olin are the only ones who have said anything.

I would join the BlameTruth bandwagon and bash this game on Youtube every chance I get...and get payed for it by Machinima !

I would never! That's bulls*** if they ever do that. I mean we are already paying for the game, xbox live, and a lot are paying for the overpriced map packs. How much more money do they really need?! I hope they never do this but if they do I really hope people don't pay for it.
