i just bought this from best buy:

and i absolutely love it. there was a little bit of backlight bleed through, but it seems to have disappeared after a few days. the response time is low enough that there is absolutely no lag or motion blur while playing (i've played gears, thp8 and ninja gaiden black on it, and have not seen any motion blur at all)

As long as the monitor supports at least 1280x1024, you will be able to play high def. If you set that resolution in your 360's dashboard settings, all games will default to 720p which is 1280x800 I believe. On a normal 4:3 monitor, this means all games will run in a "letterbox" rather than fullscreen, but still look great.
For monitor specs, look for the lowest possible response time (the lower, the less "ghosting" you get), aim for 2ms or less if you can. As for contrast ratio, it defines how sharp and vibrant the colours look, though I'm not sure how important it is when buying a monitor. Most monitors seem to have around 500-1000:1 so aim as high as you can.
I have seen this one and can vouch it is really good.i just bought this from best buy:

Then there's something seriously wrong with your monitor, since Gears has motion blur aplenty!Â

Lol, aye it does. Perhaps he meant ghosting or something like thatÂ
