I dont really play shooters but, Im a fan of racing and some awsome racing games are

Test Drive Unlimited

Progect Gotham Racing 4

and

Forenza 2

Get like a RPG or something like a racing game or a sports game.

Sports - FIFA 08 or Fight Night Round 3

Racing - Forza 2, Project Gotham Racing 3 or Project Gotham Racing 4 or Test Drive Unlimited

RPG's - Oblivion

Or you could get like BioShock, really good game.

-Oblivion or Mass Effect: Amazing lengthy games for all RPG fans.

-Forza Motorsport 2 or Project Gotham Racing 4: Perfect unique games if you're into the racing genre.

-Grand Theft Auto IV: It just came out, Fantastic street adventure game, completely different then a typical shooter.

I agree Mass Effect if you want a 3rd person RPG or Oblivion if you want a 1st person RPG. :)
