Calling all GoW players to return to the online world. I set up a new game with a friend and waited for people to join, we waited around 5 minutes and only had 3 in the game. Where is everyone at??.... and what are u guys playing online now??
I don't think people are quitting. I just think everyone is hosting their own games. The host has such an unreasonable advantage. Exspecially since there is no lag indicator.
Meh, Rainbow 6 is leagues better online. I probably won't come back to Gears online unless they add some new modes, (like CTF, team CTF etc).ColoradoKindBud
Any indication on any upgrades to Gears?? respawning would be great. Especially if happen to die early and get stuck waiting for some player that hides for through out the round.
I can't possible understand how Respawns would be a good thing. That would suck so much. The Hardcore, tactical gameplay would probably just disintergrate into people running at each other like idiots.

thats pretty accurate too, personally i know all my friends are playing other games, but the host advantage has become more widely understood so tose that are still playin may be tryin to take advantage of it..

Lost Planet is one of the better games out on the 360! It got such crappy reviews for God knows what reason, but the fan base it has and continues to grow is crazy. It will be one of the top selling games for the 360 - just wait and see.
I not playing GoW online cos the bullet lag is so bad in every single match that when i shoot i have to guess where theyre gonna be in about half a second.

It's not. I always shoot the floor to check the connection speed. It's pretty good most of the time.

Ehm, if you must know I just got back from playing 6 long lasting matches on Gears where the longest wait took 2 minutes for the room to fill up.
I played Rainbow Six: Vegas for like 15 hours over the weekend. Awesome game!!! GoW is still number one in Major Nelson activity report. So, more are playing it than R6V.

Yeah, except that as Gears is setup now CTF wouldn't work. The way Gears is setup, I can't think of any way they could really get more out of their multiplayer than they already have. I really hope this isn't a limitation on the Unreal 3 engine as I definitely would like to see 32-40 person multiplayer for Unreal Tournament 3. That game thrives on a large amount of people per game. Oh, and btw, I'm playing R6V or basically anything else besides Gears, I really wish I would have evaded the hype and just rented that game.

Agreed. But I dont know what the TC is talking about. Sure I stopped playing for a couple of weeks (so I could start playing Oblivion) but I just spent the whole weekend playing gears and I had no problem at all. Longest wait time was like a minute and out of several matches played only 1 was laggy. I love that game.
i was online last night man had choke ppl i guess u have to b in at right times even this morning i was on but i guess its bc i jus jump in games and stuff =3
