People need to get off Gears, if you cannot handle the Frag Tagging or Chainsaw

People need to get off of Gears of War, if they cannot handle being Frag Tagged with the Grenades or being Chainsawed, it has got to the point of absurdity

Last night I was playing an 8 round ranked Execution match on Old Bones with some friends and the other team was whining and crying about being Frag Tagged with the Grenades, and the Grenades are part of the game, so my team won the match 8 to 4 and I finished with the most points in the match with 18 kills and almost all of them were Grenade Tags

So me and a few guys were exchanging insults back and forth and I told him, you need to act like a man and accept that Frag Tagging with the Grenades is part of the game and if you cannot handle that, then you should not be playing the game and instead of whining about it, do something about it and the insults went back and forth the entire match

Now after the match ended, one of them sent me a hate message, and then one of the other players decided to use one of his alternate game tags and say after the Match, I hope you die of Aids and a bunch of other garbage, he was not man enough to use the gamertag, that he was using in the game to send me the message

I do not mind trash talking and a few insults, but leave what happened in the game, in the game where it belongs, just because you got beat and were owned, does not justify sending somebody hateful messages after the game ends, especially when I was doing the stuff in the context of the game and not breaking any rules

Also just because a Match is 4 on 3 or 4 on 2 or 3 on 2 or whatever the numbers might be, does not mean that Frag Tagging or Chainsawing should not be used, just because it is like that does not mean that me or any other play should show Mercy on you

Because if anything that only motivates me to want to Chainsaw and Frag Tag, that much more, the more you complain about it, the more I do it

They were grown men to, they were not some little kid either, people do not realize that there are adults on Xbox live who act far much worse then the kids do, so stop stereotyping the kids as being the only bad ones

I am 30 and I play the game, the way it is supposed to be played and I do not glitch or complain about the weapon that is used, if I get killed

If you are going to play Gears of War or any game, you should be man enough and have enough manhood to accept what is part of the game and not complain about it and do something about it, if you do not like it

I dont mind anything to be honest, but to ba fair it is a little boring when all someone does is frag tag, especially when at times you simply cant counter it, especially with the lag, sometimes shooting someone point plank with a shotty doesnt kill them and they can still tag you, but for the most part its balanced.V4LENT1NE

Frag tagging is not cheap because you have to be able to get close enough to someone to do it. Not always an easy thing.

The game is very unbalanced. Unfortunately, that's just the way it is. Every time I play, it happens that I melee someone and they don't get stunned. Then they melee me back and I get stunned and eventually killed. It happens EVERY time I play. Very annoying. Also, the handgun melee attack is too powerful. It's too fast, so when you get meleed by a pistol, you don't get a chance to react because you get hit again pretty much instantly, and that second hit drops you. Also, for being a "stop n pop" game, the lancer is way too weak and useless.

But that's the game. No real sense in complaining.

Having every single kill be a frag tag is a little bit excessive don't you think?  I have no problem with using it in the game, but good lord.  Your trigger finger must not work lol 

It's pretty weak to use the frag tag when you have the advantage of greater numbers. Frag tags may be part of the game, but common courtesy and realizing that the frag tags are still broken is part of the game, too. Chainsaw? That I have no problem with. It isn't that hard to put someone down when they try to saw you. The only time you should get chainsawed is when someone snuck up on you, or if you're double teamed and only watching one guy.The_Fell_One

My trigger finger works just fine, they were only making me do it more by whining and it was working and getting a lot of kills

I just do whatever it takes to win and whatever weapon of choice, that I feel gets the job done is the weapon that I will use

I have grown quite fond of Old Bones recently, the huge size of the map makes it such an easy map to sneak up on somebody, because there are so many areas that you can come from with numerous flank chances, so I just like to go on a Frag Tagging Spree on that map. lol

This made me LOL a little.

That and people complaining about stealing their kills. Lots of time I shooting the same person with someone else, I kill them, then they get mad at me for stealing their kill. Also, if I see someone down and no one around I'm going to kill him off. Now, I shoot the heck out of everyone in the player matches and could careless about stealing kills because I'm trying to win the round. But, during ranked matches I tend to back off more and try not to do that as it accounts for something for some of you guys.

So that was you I was playing last night you little bastard lol, I'm kidding.  Although Frag tagging is part of the game & its one of the easiest things in the world to do (most of the time you die when you do it), it requires absolutely no skill. 

It gets very annoying when you see people just running around with grenades in their hand, making no attempt to fight with a gun.  But the people you were playing must not have been all that good, I generally find a way to keep you guys at bay (with alittle active reload from a shotgun or machine gun.

Then I commence with humiliating you while your down (which I don't normally do lest you piss me off).  What they should do is make a special tech hit button that lets you hit the grenade off, if done with proper timing (like an active reload).

Now it doesn't bother me if i get killed by a frag tag or chainsaw, but it is totally natural to call someone a whore if all they use is one weapon and it doesn't count as whining. Like if i played that game and you used only gernades i probably would have called you a nade whore. It isn't that i am complaining about dieing to them just pointing out the fact that you only used one weapon.

Now using one weapon isn't wrong or worth complaining because hell if you are good enough with that weapon why not (unless it is like the noob shot in Halo 2). What makes it a problem is if you only use one weapon then start talking trash and saying you owned them (if you have a ton of kills). If you do that it doesn't mean your good because you could be real lucky, but if you don't smack talk then you already know your skill and don't have to be an ass and say anything.

Really i have the same view as you though. If it is in the game then the other team can also get it. Prime example is the AWP(truly the AWM) on Counter-Strike. A lot of poeple complained because you can get one hit kills, but you move slower and it takes longer to aim than any other gun. Oh yea and there is the fact that anyone in the game can get it making it truly fair.

I got off because of the lag. Have there been any updates recently to address that?
