I know that it got rated 9/10 but is that because it was release at the same time as the 360? How does it compair to the other fps out today. Is it like the perfect dark on the n64?

It got that rating as when it was released it had really good console graphics(obviously) and good multi-player, of course 2+ years down the line its not going to compare with newer games but at the time i thought it was a decent game 7.0 at most, probably a 6.0 at this time but at the time comparing it to other games it was at most an 8.0 mainly because of its graphics and multi-player.

This type of thing happens every generation, launch games for new consoles tend to get high scores as there graphics/physics etc are greatly improved from previous gens, so it makes sense they would get high scores.

Some people say how can game x get a 8.0 when PDZ got a 9, well thats because things change,at the time it seemed like a high tech game but compared to today standards its quite poor, this has been going on since gaming reviews began and will forever unless they start adding extra digits to the scale for instance newer games getting a 12.0 then 14.0 and so on, but that makes no sense, its best to compare older games with games released around the same time.

ok, thanks for the great help. does any one know of any other solo fps on the 360. by solo i mean you are the only person and you fight all of the ememies by your self, for example goldeneye and perfect dark on the n64. I dont really like controlling teams as you do in call of duty. Can anyone recommened a good fps where you dont have a team with you.

perfect dark 0 is very fun against bots. not many people play online but with the update you can play all gamemodes against bots. there is a whole set of game modes that make it alot like counterstrike.

Many people hated it, and I don't know why. I loved it, it was pretty awesome to me, but the achievements are so ridiculous, and if your an achievement junkie, the game isn't for you.
But yeah, I would recommened it, it's pretty cheap now, I'm thinking about picking it up again.
And it probably compares alright to games today, but it's been 2 years, so game's have had time and it's been advanced.

Well, you can get it used for less than $10 including shipping. At $10 I think most FPS fans would enjoy it.
