Is it worth buying? It got a solid score on Gamespot, but I've heard some pretty bad reviews about it as well. Please just state if you enjoyed the game or not. Thanks.
Due to my personal tastes, i rather dislike the game. so i can't really recommend it. I just find the gameplay....odd.
And also i was probably put off when i first got it because the game would crash every 10 minutes. It doesn't do it anymore, but i still just find the game rather, well, odd again.

Not ridiculing your opinion here, I just thought it was funny that the person with a cartoon girl with burning eyes as an avatar thinks PDZ is odd. :)

I'd say spend your money elsewhere, unless you're really starved for something new to play. Enemies apparently have x-ray vision, as you'll be spotted almost immediately time and time again, no matter how hidden or far away you are. This makes stealth elements tedious to the extent that they become pointless, so you're forced to run-and-gun most missions. Problem is, the game plays too slow and movements have a bit of drift to them, often making relatively simple sections of the game into a pain in the ass. Graphically, it's inconsistent throughout, going from gorgeous in some areas to really muddy looking in others.
I'd recommend grabbing a copy of BioShock or just waiting until something better comes along.
I'd say it is now that it's only about $30 new. The single player is fun, but a bit lacking. I enjoyed Perfect Dark for the N64 a bit more, but it's not bad. Multiplayer is a lot of fun. The bots are all right for filling in when you don't have a lot of players. Being able to set map size and the different game modes make for a lot of replayability.
