Peter Moore to leave Microsoft to join EA

lol last time peter moore left his big position in a big company was when the dreamcast came out before they were doomed-PS360-

Only i dont think microsoft is suddenly going to die

he will be missed. he helped the 360 to be a very successful console.

the new guy filling in for PM seems to be from EA. it seems as if EA and MS just traded employees.

He was great.

The Wikipedia article of the new guy has already been updated. That's pretty impressive.

that was like his 1 bad show. Peter Moore became the face of the X360 marketing campaign right when the 360 started to do very well in sales. if it wasn't for his impressive showings at E3 2006 and X06, i dont think the 360 would have done as well.

Exactly, and in my opinion none of the shows were good so you kinda have to say all of the frontman of the systems suck...

I don't know bout you but I just read that Microsoft will be replacing him with a VP or President of EA devision. If that's true, then I might have to go out and sell my 360 for a PS3 cause to things scare me:

1. Last time Peter Moore left a big company the company (and its console) bit the dust

2. EA spews out the same ol' stuff every year and accuses competing companies of releasing games that aren't innovative and think they really aren't the ones mainly responsible (yea right Madden,NBA,Nascar,Battlefield are really innovative). So this guy is scaring the c*** outta me and I hope it isn't that guy from E3 07' who played the football player on Madden 08.
