PGR3 Graphics Crap compared to Forza2 and Dirt

Graphicly speaking the presentation of PGR3's environemts are unparralleld and by far better looking than Forza 2, although the car models use more polygons overall IMO PGR3 still looks better.

As for DiRT well codemasters have paid dearly for choosing graphics over content and the framerate tends to drop a lot.

Im not saying the 360 isnt evolving but I do disagree with your comment on PGR3.

I found dirt ran pretty well. Mind you i didn't play it very much on the 360. tested out the tracks more on my computer which is quite good so it ran fine.

Visually dirt is very good and way better than pgr3. PGR3 isn't quite as crisp as forza but overall pgr3 is better i think but forza has the win with car models. The forza cars look really good imo but you have to get up closer to see how nice they are

It would be very strange if the graphics in forza 2 and dirt was'nt better if you compare with a game that is over a year old.tony_fjellborg

PGR3's city environments look great, in my opinion. The car models? Fine, but nothing special. Forza's car models, on the other hand, are fantastic--especially the damage modelling. And honestly, the environments go by so fast that you can't really see them, and you're not really paying that much attention to them. So, as long as the landscape looks decent, there's no problem. Forza's landscape looks great, in my opinion (granted, I've only played the demo). So far, I'd say Forza definitely looks better. Hell, it plays a lot better too, which is all that really matters to me.

Also, isn't it true that PGR3 only renders at 1024x600 instead of the full 720p resolution of 1024x720? At least, that's what I've heard. So it wouldn't surprise me that that is why Forza's models look sharper than PGR3's. That little bit of scaling makes everything look just a little off.
