I was wondering what should I add to my already big list must buys. If my choices are really good ones in the long run.

Games:

Dead Or Alive 4 (I'm a fan, and just wondering is there still an online community? I wont care but just wondering)

Splinter Cell: Double Agent

Elder Scrolls 4 (A 50/50 Chance I might not get it cause I've beat the main quest on my old PC but that was it none of the side quest or factions, not even the expansions)

Saints Row

Gears Of War (another 50/50 cause I beat the single player on cousins Xbox)

Accessories:

Extra wireless controller

360 VGA Cable. (I heard things about this, like lag and washed out colors and errors on screen when using the VGA output any feedback is welcome)

Fan Cooler attachment thingy.

Anything I should thrash/pick up on the list when I go get it friday?

Even if you are hooking up to a monitor - chances are it has a DVI input and a HDMI to DVI cable will be the same price and more bandwidth than the VGA cable.

Also don't get the "fan thingy" if you're talking about the Nyko Intercooler - very bad horror stories with that product from people and MS has said it will void your warranty if it causes a problem. If it's the stand with a fan built in that has it's own seperate power connection - then it should be ok. The Intercooler takes power from the 360's main supply and has caused complete meltdowns for some people.

As far as additional games - I would say definitely Lost Planet and I liked Prey allot as well. :)

If you're going to get an Elite, and want to play online, don't forget that you need a subscription.... You might want to sacrifice buying a game for that, but you probably already know about Xbox Live.

Anyway, I'll be getting an Elite soon also, (Damn you- youbeat me to it! Lmao) and I'm going to get Gears first, maybe.

Also, you may want to check out the Gamestop/Ebgames sale going on. They have F.E.A.R. for $30, Condemned: Criminal Origins for $20, and Quake 4 for $15.

Definitely get Oblivion if you've never finished the guild quests or side quests. Tons of game left man! Pick up a Quick Charge Kit. It lets you charge the controller batteries without changing your wireless controller to a wired one. Forget about the Intercooler. It's a total waste of money and potentially destructive. If you want to play online don't forget about a Live subscription card or the starter kit. Pick up some MS points as well. There's good stuff for sale on the Marketplace.

Thats what I'm gonna do is hook it up to this moniter (20 inch) cause I dont have the cash for a HDtv at the moment. But I've never played double agent and from what I've heard of Conviction it looks like im gonna have to play it to understand why the hell Sam has become a Jason Bourne of sorts.

According to one review

AWESOME Reviewed By: umk3 Date: Tuesday, June 12, 2007 I really like this one because the air flow comes from the bottom, it wont melt your xbox like the intercooler, and it can't void your warranty anyway how like the intercooler can.
