planes and bikes on GTA IV??

Does anybodu know if we'll be able to ride planes and bikes like in San Andreas??

I can understand why there are no planes as it is all city. Not much room to fly an airplane. Plus Liberty City is a replica of New York and after the whole 9/11 thing I can understand why they didn't. I don't get why they would have taken out bikes though.

actually that makes no sense, so ur telling me that a game based around drugs, women and violence MUCH VIOLENCE is taking out planes because of 9/11. If u ask me GTA gets publicty and always uses the fact that they go "outside the lines" of what a game should do. So just because of 9/11 there going to take out planes. Lastly can anyone tell me if this reason has been confirmed or is a rumor,

Are you seriously wondering why they didn't put planes in? Weigh the options here; they could put planes, which aren't gonna be useful in a small area like Manhattan and lose around a half billion dollars from lawsuits, or they can leave 'em out, retain a serious gameplay experience, and save themselves from going bankrupt. Remember, this is TakeTwo's only change to survive corporate takeover.

I also said that it is a city. It would be quite hard to fly around a bunch of scycrapers you know. I only through that in there as it may be the case. I was not saying that is what I thought it was. I just think they don't have them in there as it would be quite hard to fly them around a big city like this.

In response to all the messages, I just think it is unfair for the exclusion of planes for those who want it.

In response to people who say it's stupid because it is a city, hey it has been done before and it is great fun!

in relation to the whole september 11 incident, i understand maybe for america, but for Australians and other countries I don't really see any valid point what-so-ever. Time to move on, the past is the past. If you are so offended simply don't play the game. People with these petty issues should be focusing on the blood sex and alcohol.

Please note i am not telling everyone effected by 9/11 to get over it, just there are more valid and pressing issues!

I wish there were planes- nothing stupid like in San Andreas (stealing a fighter plane or airliner is stupid) but just a regular plane- like the Dodo plane in GTA3 but one that can actually fly properly. maybe they'll make it downloadable.

I also want BMX bikes- they were cool in San Andreas.
