platinum hits same as normal?

i got battlefield bad company and the guy put in a platinum hits disc instead of the normal one, now is there any difference between them like added content or anything or are they the same?

If the title is the same, it's the same game. Sometimes Platinum hits games are slightly different, like Lost Planet, but they added "Extreme Colonies edition" to the title. if it's the same title, just Platimum hits version. It's the same game.

I though colonies added content though. Like new maps and MP modes plus cross PC console MP. On topic though platinum hits really just mans a game sold well. Once a game reaching a certain amount of sales it reaches platinum status and they start producing it with that case but its still the same game.

nah its a bonus disc that installs all DLC packs released to date. I know, I have it ;)

They're essentially the same, though the Platinum hits is uglier than monkey ****.

But hey, if it saves you a few bucks, it's all good.

The Forza 3 Ultimate collection doesn't cost anything more than the regular since its also a platinum hits.

Sometimes they are different. The first Mass Effect game on platinum hits came with a bonus disc with a premium theme, the dlc that was released, and loads of game making videos and design notes and such.
