I had a Play & Charge kit with a white controller that worked fine. I bought a black controller, tried the kit, didn't work. I asked for a black Play & Charge Kit for Christmas. I plugged it in, no light comes on the cable. The controller works when plugged in, but every few seconds, it does the low battery blink.

Any help?

Strange, I run a white kit to a black controller with no problems... Have you tried swapping the battery packs so it would be like this:

Black controller, white battery black (or) white cord? I dunno, play around with it some strange MacGyvering may be in order.

These charge and play things are really just unreliable. I have the Nyko one and it works when it feels like it, doing the same thing you described TC. A friend of mines has two of the first party kits and one of them never works. Thier just not good pieces of hardware.

Odd. I just recently bought a black controller and it came with the P&C cable, but I've never tried it. I'll give it a whirl now.

this happened to me with both my black and red controller. The batteries don't get a connection to the controller. I just got rechargeable batteries with charger from best buy and it works great.

Just for the record, if anyone searches for this and wants a solution - here's how I fixed it.

I plugged the wire into the controller so that it was about halfway in. The light came on in about 30 seconds, so I pushed it all the way in, and it has worked great since.
