Play.com posted dates...

Hi, I preordered GTAIV on the 12/01/2008. On the 24/04/2008 my account said it had been posted. I thought great it will be here on time. I then checked my account again today to look at some other orders when I saw the posted date of my GTAIV.

It now says 'posted 28/04/2008.' I seriously doubt this will be here by tommorow. Has anything like this happened to anyone else on any of their past orders with play.com?

I hope for play.com they sent in on the 24th because I'm buying from Italy and I won't wait another week

just checked my order it says posted 28th also but i checked the other day and it said posted on the 25th. I phoned play.com last week and the girl told me that rockstar didn't want them to post the game early and that my order would be sent by special delivery on mondaytopher187

Oh, so thats why it says the 28th on my order. When you say 'special delivery' is that the one where you have to sign for it?

sometimes special deliveries come by van so it may come between 9:00 am and onwards if its not there by 2:00 pm then more than likely the next daytopher187

I just checked the royal mail website and it says guaranteed to be delivered before 1pm :D. I CAN'T WAIT!!!!! :D

If it got delivered today, 28th April, it will come on the 29th April. I got Bully Scholarship Ed. the day before it was released and it got delievered on the Wednesday.

I'm ordering it off of play.com as well, defantaly cannot wait!
