Same crap happened with COD2, actually find a game that your pretty good at which in my case seems to be the COD games, play for a while, win a bit and watch your rep gently slide down the toilet, pretty sad how some people like to act on Xbox Live, I chack my rep after a few wins and notice that it has gone down further :lol:. Not saying I am Gods gift on COD games or anything just saying that it seems like people it those games in particular have a real problem with people who are better than them, anyone else noticed this with COD in particular?

never noticed it in COD, but gears and halo is another story. but i dont really know, I dont care about my rep anymore. rep is full of BS
My rep was at around 80% preferred before I started playing ranked matches on Gears. Now it has slided to 63%... I barely ever talk through my headset, and when I do it's to tell people on my team where they are, not to trash talk.

Yea, I for one agree. I had a guy give me bad feedback one time because I kicked him during a pistols match in R6V for continuing to use an assault rifle after being told not to several times, who cares.

That is pretty much Rainbow Six: Vegas online. After most matches, the losing team accuses the winning team of glitching and insults fly back and forth. It's pretty funny to hear how people overreact.

quit talking smack i am sure that is the problem because my rep has not been affected at all since cod came out and i am pretty good usually top 1 or 2 people on my team

And you think that's bad? Try playing it on the PS3. Everytime you kill the host while playing Search and Destroy, he closes the lobby. It's truly pathetic.
i find that Gears & especially sports games are bad for losers giving bad rep, i never get bad rep in cod4 (but than again, i usually dont completely dominate) and if you leave a game early in cod4 no one even notices
I don't pay attention to mine at all, it's all BS anyways. Mine is 38% avoided for trash talk when I never use my mic. I only give someone a bad rep if they quit early or team kill. I don't like betrayals....
I never usually trash talk online, just leting my team now the location of people, or telling them who to kill. But if someone kills me in an unfair way, I get a little pissed, but I don't try to name call because of banning. But to be honest I haven't lost yet on COD$. I have a stealthy aproach to fights. So watch out when I get xbox-live back. Your head is gonna be MINE!
I have not noticed it yet but I am not the good one on the game. I did have some kid start to whine that I did not let him know somebody was behind him as I died. I told him to stop crying and he would not quit and he was talking how I wasn't doing anything. It was domination and I was the one who was capturing the b flag on that board with the flag in the middle if the 2 story open area. I was also getting one of the other 2 non stop after they were taken. He said so what and kept it up so I called him out for acting like a ****** baby and some other kid, I guess his buddy said I was sounding like the baby. I said it is just a game and I really did not care if we won or lost and was he serious that I awas sounding like a baby while the other kid was yapping about how I said bomb instead of frag or grenade. It was crazy but we worked well together and won. Some people need to relax. If I am the best player one the team which does not happen much so be it. I remember throwing a grenade and it bounced off the wall and right back into me, it was funny and some kid and I were laughing about it. It is a game, lets have fun, get serious at school or work.
the only time I ever trash talk is when someone else does it to me. I have however been sent a voice message after playing some shadowrun and completely destroying a guy with the troll. it consisted of calling me a "camping n-word" and a bunch of other racial slurs. It is for THOSE things that I wish filing a complaint would actually do something.
who cares about rep. noone looks at it, when people lose they get pissed and leave u bad rep.i dont even have a headset and i get bad rep. lol who cares
