Real quick question. When I load a game to the HDD and want to play it, can I just hit the A button from the dashboard, as I normally do when the playing a game from the disk (or does this just play it from the disk)? Or do I have to hit Y and then select "play from HDD"?

you do have to have the disk in the console to play the game, even if you load it to the HDD - loading gams to the HDD cuts down on load times, less wear & tear on the disk drive

So go to "My Xbox" - Game Library - select the game from the list - then select "Play from Hard drive"

Umm, I was wondering the same thing. I think with the disc in, you can just hit A to play off the HDD once its uploaded on the HDD. I do not believe that you need to hit Y then Play from HDD. I may be wrong though.
