Please Help FAST!!!!

I just brought my xbox360 over to my dads house. I use an hdtv at my moms so right now the screen is black but the sound is working how can i switch it back to standard defintion so i can see the picture

When it boots up I believe you hold the right trigger and the Y button, resets the display settings.
