I have the more expensive version of the 360 and i want to get on xbox live. I think it comes live ready doesnt it? because it has the headset with it. My problem is that i have wireless internet...so how can i set it up? I tried running a cable from te xbox to a computer that has wireless (NOT the main computer though)...should that work? because its not. Do i have to buy something else? Thanks for the help.

Did you try it yet?

Try to connect everything and sign on Xbox Live then ask, if it doesnt' work.

you should still have ethernet ports on the wireless router, just plug it into that, if not then buy a new router with ports, or spend the $99 on the xbox wireless adaptor

Well ive done some research and heres what i found.

Yes it is possible to plug an ethernet cable from the 360 into a computer (this case laptop) that is wirelessly connected to the internet. You need to make sure that Internet Connection Sharing is turned on by right clicking on your connection in CONTROL PANEL-NETWORKING AND SHARIGN CENTER-MANAGE NETWORK CONNECTIONS and enabling it. Although many people have had success doing this i keep getting an error message that reads "An error occurred while Internet Connection Sharing was being enabled." Some other people have also got this error when tryign to enable the Internet Connection Sharing. Is anyone good with computers and knows why this error keeps coming up? Ive been working on it for a few hours now and its really annoying i think as long as i get that turned on this will work.

AAAAAAAAAAAA.

lol thanks!
